Michael Jordan signed paper cut vintage 1986 with 8x10 photo of him. The ticket stub to the game where the autograph was obtained is not included as it was a birthday gift for the owner's freshman year in high school from his father and he would like to keep it for sentimental reasons, however, a photocopy of the ticket will be included. THE STORY behind this autograph! In october 1986, this ticket was a birthday gift to the preseason game between the Portland Trailblazers and the Chicago Bulls. Me and my father left for the game plenty early to get there because I'd asked him if we could so that I could walk down to where the Chicago Bulls walk onto the game floor and see if I could get Michael Jordan's autograph. After we arrived at the Memorial Coliseum, I went down to the locker room entry area where the Bulls would walk out onto the floor probably about forty five minutes before they were due to come out to warm up for the game. I noticed three african american high school girls in short skirts, talking to the security guard standing in front of the tunnel entrance asking if there was any way they could meet michael jordan? After they were finished talking to the security guard, they started walking towards an area opposite of the tunnel through some type of food preparation area. So I decided to follow them. They turned one way and I turned a different way and followed a tunnel that went back around the other side of the building. I ended up in a hallway that had several rooms with open doors. I approached and looked inside one of the rooms, and there was a man eating a snicker's candy bar in a red chicago bulls jersey with his back turned towards the door and the number 23! I was standing about fifteen feet away from Michael Jordan as he was eating a candy bar and standing in front of some type of stretch examination table. As I approached the room to walk inside to ask him if I could get his autograph, a man in a suit, cut me off and said, "what are you doing back here" and I just asked him, can I get Michael's autograph to which he responded? No! you need to leave now! So I turned around and started to walk away down the hallway when I encountered this chubby guy in a ball boy uniform, pushing a cart full of towels. I stopped him and handed him my pad of paper and asked him if he could go get Michael's autograph for me? He replied that he did not have time but had one that he could give me. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a pad of paper and ripped this autograph off of it. A very memorable night!
